It was created back in 1. It was crafted by Planet Minecraft user Nickv and can be found at this link. This texture pack delivers the Enterprise-A to the player. It only updates the textures for the ship itself, but it still brings a full replica of the USS Enterprise-A, which is the version of the ship that appeared in the Star Trek films, Voyage Home, Final Frontier, and Undiscovered Country.
This is another relatively small-scale texture pack, but it's still an impressive feat that can be shared with other Minecraft players. Developer VanquishGT last posted that it's still a work in progress, and that was in Plus, it was made for version 1. However, players can still download and build on their Enterprise and enjoy what is there through this link.
Spock, Lieutenant Uhura, and Dr. It aims to capture the flashy coloring and relatively simple design that was phased out between the original series and Next Generation. This one was created by Planet Minecraft user 14jroyer and was made for version 1.
That said, if you want to check it out, it can be found at this link. It is a large visual overhaul that is inspired by the Star Trek: Elite Forces videogame. It is mostly complete and is designed to immerse the player into a Minecraft world that looks like a part of the United Federation of Planets.
This one was designed for version 1. Regardless, it can be found at Planet Minecraft. A Touch of Trek is a large-scale visual overhaul made to resemble the world of the Star Trek Universe and to allow players to build their own versions of various items and ships from Star Trek. The Enterprise NCCD has finally had its open decks moved up and let me tell you it's been a wild ride so far. Within the first few days we were diving in and exploring the decks more thoroughly than had truly been done before, and already I was seeing problems. Well, this post really sums it up I think warning: lots of text, beware if allergic. Suffice it to say that the change will be positive, it's just very daunting as it requires considerable work and some risk.
Partly I'd like to pull the center piece of the ship out and make the change "globally" and then import the fixed section, but that will consume considerable resources to accomplish anyway and if the fix needs to be done, then it NEEDS to be done. Meanwhile the decks are already starting to be improved. Lots of work is going on to fill in the empty rooms and much of the decks at least the lower ones are filled with matter tankage and storage areas, so our work will be MUCH quicker on these decks, even considering the heavily quartered decks in some of the upper areas of the neck.
Patchy has promised to do some blogging here in the future, even perhaps reviving my CTO series. Goodness, we could make about 20 of those with all the cool stuff on the server in the last year alone I hope he does.
If you're interested in joining Minetrek do please jump on the server! I haven't been annoyed by sheer numbers of new players in over a week, its a sign.
