Nov 26, PM in response to wildernesshike In response to wildernesshike. Sorry, same problem here with Sync and no luck with your fix. My only suspicion is that songs that don't exist in the iTunes store won't sync. I'm trying to add some Tool songs that exist in my iTunes library but not the store. They will not come over to the phone, regardless of how many boxes are checked, unchecked, etc. Nov 26, PM. Dec 12, AM. I hope you've been able to solve your problem by now, but if not: I was able to figure this out after a couple of hours of playing around.
What I had to do after hours of resets and resyncs as recommended by all the other posts was to take all my music and audiobooks off the computer and place on an external hard drive I then delete any trace of itunes from my computer and then reloaded itunes I then added all these files to itunes and resynced my phone. My files too are imported from CDs and the CDs are long gone. I hope this works for somebody else too! Dec 16, PM. I fixed it by turning off wireless sync and automatic sync, checking Manually Manage Music, and then checking the boxes for the artist and album, then synching the iphone with the mac.
That worked for me. I think it was turning on the Manuall Manage Music that did the trick Dec 27, PM. My main issue is that it just won't go to my iPhone. In the library it shows that I should have all the songs from all the albums I want, but they don't show up on my phone.
I'll click all of the ones I want, click apply, it looks like the music will be loaded the data bar shrinks , but right before the sync ends, it reverts empty data bar gets big again. Is it something with the phone or the software? Dec 31, PM.
