That would not have corrupted their server environments. They notified me anytime they wanted to sell something. Why didn't Fitbit notify their user community they were removing the Android 7 support and apps?
They notified me when they were sell new products but it would have been throwing away money without a newer phone. Fitbit is not very supportive of their wide ranging user community.
It wastes a lot of time when the device stops working and each impacted user has to research the problem only to find out this was a Fitbit planned change. Ive got a galaxy S6 running on android 7.
